Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

► We warrant all of our products to be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of delivery. 

► We do not warrant against normal wear and tear, or damage due to customer accident or misuse. Warranty does not apply to accessories or to any merchandise sold "as-is" or as a "final sale". 

Manufacturing Defect

► All items will be free from any manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. A member of our quality-control staff personally inspects every item prior to shipment, so it is very unlikely to be anything less than perfect. 

► In the event that there is ever a problem with your order, please contact us immediately within 3 working days from the date of delivery. We will refund the shipping cost back to us and will ship the item back to you at our expense ONLY if any we designate the repair to be "manufacturing defect". This is a rare condition and simply means that our quality control did not notice the defect prior to item being shipped. Any alterations (such as sizing) performed after delivery, void any warranty.

Timepieces - Manufacturers’ Limited Warranty

► All watches purchased from TIMEZONE2U.COM are covered for any applicable manufacturers’ defects for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

► Limited warranty covers only manufacturing defects, which include mechanical defects such as detached hour, minute, and/or second hand; missing or detached tritium tubes; or detached crown. Our warranty does not cover "external damage" to the product.

► TIMEZONE2U.COM does not service watches with any damages resulting from wear to the watch case, crystal / glass, watch bracelet, watch bezel, straps, screws, crown/stem, finishes, clasps/buckles, or any other physical damage to the watch.

► Damage that occurs due to having the watch serviced by a third party null and voids the warranty. This limited warranty does not cover any damage if there is evidence of misused, excessive wear and tear, or if used under conditions which exceed the manufacturer’s water resistance guidelines. Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty or any implied warranties. The warranty is not extended to the watchstrap, bracelet, finish, crystal or battery.

Timepieces - Water Resistance

► No wristwatch is truly waterproof. Watches are resistant to water under certain specific conditions. If you use your watch within the water resistance limits specific by the manufacturer, you should get many years of dependable service from it.

► To avoid damage to a diving watch, always be certain that the crown and case are locked or screwed down before submerging the watch in water. In addition, to prevent corrosion of sensitive watch materials, always clean the watch with freshwater after submerging in saltwater.

► Special Note: Warranty shall be void if used under conditions which exceed the watch manufacturer’s water resistance guidelines. For more information, please refer to our Water Resistance Guide.

Timepieces - Returns & Repairs

► Should your watch is found to be defective under normal use, please contact us immediately or email us at sales [at] timezone2u [dot] com to obtain a Product Return Number (PRN). Kindly include a brief description, as well as photo illustrations of your problem.

► A return confirmation email and PRN will be provided to you if your case is eligible for warranty claim. You will be responsible for paying for shipping costs for returning your item back to us. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

► There is no charges for the repair or replacement of the watch during the warranty period, and no extra charges for postage, handling, and related costs to get the watch shipped to USA or Europe for warranty claims.

► As your watch may have to be sent back to our dealers/suppliers in USA or Europe for warranty claims, kindly allow 8-12 weeks for the return of your timepiece. You will be duly advised should the time required differ significantly.

Maglite, Leatherman, Swiss+Tech, Zippo - Limited Lifetime Warranty

► For selected products (Maglite, Leatherman, Swiss+Tech, Zippo etc) with limited lifetime warranty offered by the manufacturer, the customer is responsible for handling and costs associated with returning the defective item back to the manufacturer's location in the USA or Europe. 

► All international shipping costs are solely customer's responsibility.

Out of Warranty

► We warrant all merchandise against defects in manufacturing and workmanship. We are not responsible for those items subjected to excessive or improper wear, abuse, or physical damage whether accidental or not, altered or repaired at unauthorized shops. We have a right to refuse such a repair. Any shipping charges will be customer's responsibility. 

► Natural variations in products made in whole or in part of natural materials, such as leather are not considered defects. Handmade products will generally vary in color or texture. The appearance may also vary on metal surfaces, particularly those applied by hand such as *antique* style finishes. Metal may stain, scratch, crack or discolor.

► The customer must exercise proper care to minimize any such damage. Additionally the insurance and protection of your merchandise is solely your responsibility, and TIMEZONE2U.COM shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or resulting damages what so ever that may occur, even during the one year warranty period.
